Sentinel Consulting, a premier Manhattan-based full-service security consulting firm that advises high-profile, high-net-worth clients in the areas of security management, law enforcement, emergency services, and security technology, announced that Al Palumbo has joined the company as the Director of Technical Security Consulting.

In this newly created position, Al Palumbo will work closely with Sentinel’s management, engineering team, and clients to provide oversight of all technical security elements of the company's project portfolio.

The role will tap Mr. Palumbo’s expertise in engineering design, standards development, quality assessment and control, and project management. He has over 30 years of experience in the electrical/electronic industry with 23 of those years, dedicated to Security Design, Engineering, and Consulting.

The addition of Al Palumbo as the Director of Technical Security Consulting highlights Sentinel’s commitment to standardization and consistency as core values that underline its range of client services.

Al Palumbo holds degrees and certifications in Automated Manufacturing Engineering, Computer-Aided Design and Drafting, and Technical Writing from Waterbury State Technical College and an E2 Unlimited Journeyman Electrician license from the US state of Connecticut.
