Just in time for the Security Essen 2014 trade fair (23-26 September 2014), the world market leader in the field of video surveillance presents the AXIS A1001 network door controller, a brand new product for selective admission control, specifically designed for smaller offices, industrial companies and the retail sector. Thus the Swedish high-tech company impressively demonstrates on its 30th anniversary once again that right from the start innovations have been among its strongest growth factors. Announced just in time for Security Essen 2014, the AXIS A1001 Network Door Controller and the integrated software Axis Entry Manager meet the specific needs of small to medium-sized companies with up to ten doors and basic access control requirements. The decentralized, intelligent IP solution enables simpler, more flexible installation and scalability than traditional systems. The integrated non-proprietary software eliminates the need for a central control unit or a server. For larger and more sophisticated equipment, the AXIS A1001 Network Door Controller can be used in conjunction with a partner’s software solution to fulfill more complex tasks, such as the integration of video and intrusion detection technology.

Axis’s presentation at this year’s Security Essen focuses on the motto 'The power of 4'. In addition to the new 4K cameras, this also includes a new software version of the AXIS Camera Station 4.0 as well as an expansion of the product portfolio - currently consisting of cameras, encoders and accessories – to encompass access control, adding a total of four hardware solutions. In addition, Axis is celebrating its 30th anniversary as it embarks on its fourth decade.
Axis’ stated aim is to offer in future a holistic solution model for the global surveillance market, hence 'one solution for all users'. This is also supported by our co-exhibiting partner, IPS Intelligent Video Analytics. At the fair, this manufacturer of video products will present the latest video analyses.
