Zenitel, a supplier of intelligent critical communication solutions, announces the addition of the new Turbine Mini with Video to its ever-growing portfolio of Turbine intercom and intelligent communication solutions.
HD video surveillance
The new TMIV-1+ intercom from Zenitel provides video surveillance, two-way communications, and remote-entry control, in a low-profile size (117 x 117 x 43.5 mm; 4.61 x 4.61 x 1.71 inches). It is perfect for use in indoor and outdoor environments, including buildings, universities, K12 schools, hospitals, and more.
For video surveillance, the Turbine Mini incorporates first-class video, with HD video up to 1080p resolution and a wide-angle lens that is also NDAA compliant. The ONVIF-conformant solution allows operators and users to see each other in all situations.
Active noise-canceling technology
The solution is UV resistant, and it can be used in rain or sunshine, and extreme weather temperatures
The new TMIV-1+ also incorporates Zenitel’s high-definition voice technology, with a 10W speaker and amplifier and active-noise canceling capabilities. Users can hear and communicate with users even in challenging noise conditions – all thanks to Zenitel's best-in-class audio technology.
In addition, the all-weather capability of the TMVI-1+ intercom makes it a perfect solution for all types of indoor and outdoor environments. The solution is UV resistant, and it can be used in rain or sunshine, and extremely cold and warm weather temperatures. Even more, its low-profile design allows it to blend into an environment, if necessary.
HD audio and video

Easy-to-fit intercom system
Like other intercoms from Zenitel, the new TMIV-1+ intercom can be programmed for use in three different modes: SIP, IC-EDGE, or ICX-AlphaCom, thus making the solution an easy fit with any network requirement.
In addition, the new Turbine Mini is compatible with many VMS solutions, making integration easy. Security teams can use the TMIV-1+ to trigger audio warnings or recordings with a VMS, for instance when a visitor is approaching. In addition, users can record hazardous events and send instant alerts in the event of an emergency such as a break-in or fire.
