The announcement was made ahead of CES 2024, the world’s most influential technology event, happening Jan. 9-12, 2024.

The Swann ActiveResponse™ Personal Alarm is a first-of-its-kind product for Swann Security, entering the personal safety device space. This discreet mobile safety device is built for on-the-go and has the power to potentially save lives.
If users find themselves lost, in need of help, or the presence of danger, simply pull the pin for a loud 110-decibel siren and/or push the button to alert up to 5 nominated personal contacts and/or emergency services of GPS location via Bluetooth and phone.
The device can be carried in hand, pocket, or bag, worn as a necklace, or even attached to a keyring or bag. With sturdy construction and long battery life, it’s perfect for walks, runs, hiking, or day-to-day travel.
HomeShield™
HomeShield™ was paired with the SwannBuddy4K™ Video Doorbell to showcase how it interacts naturallyThe HomeShield™ is a powerful AI-driven, security-focused voice assistant to enhance Swann video doorbells, cameras, and devices. HomeShield™ automatically responds to visitors on users' behalf in a natural way and can proactively implement other deterrent services for the home.
For the award submission, HomeShield™ was paired with the SwannBuddy4K™ Video Doorbell to showcase how it interacts naturally with humans. It accepts deliveries, screens unfamiliar visitors, and welcomes friends and family, all while giving the impression there is a real person on site with an active presence.
CES Innovation Awards program
The CES Innovation Awards program, owned and produced by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)®, is an annual competition honoring outstanding design and engineering in consumer technology products across 28 product categories.
An elite panel of industry expert judges, including members of the media, designers, engineers, and more, reviewed submissions based on innovation, engineering and functionality, aesthetics, and design.
