They installed 119 cameras across the campus and self-learning video analytics that, over time, learn normal patterns so that they can immediately and accurately alert security operators to anomalies.
These solutions are integrated and managed with Avigilon Control Center (ACC) software and support Unusual Motion Detection (UMD) technology, which flags any activity that notably deviates from the routine for quick review.
Appearance Search™ technology
Avigilon Appearance Search™ technology is another feature of the system that enables a proactive approach to security; it makes sorting through hours of recorded video as easy as searching the internet by allowing users to find specific individuals based on simple physical descriptors such as gender, age category or clothing color.
This has helped teachers and support staff monitor and discourage negative behavior, while also enabling security and administrators to know who is on campus at all times.
