Axis is continuing to grow at a fast pace. To serve a growing customer base in the best way possible, Axis has organized its sales organization into three geographical head regions – Americas (North and South America), EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and APAC (Asia Pacific). This global sales organization will now be led by Peter Lindström.

Experience and new role

Peter Lindström will lead the Axis global sales organization, including the company’s three head regions For the last ten years, Peter Lindström has led the New Business initiative at Axis, and prior to that, he was Regional Director within the sales organization. He has been a member of the Axis management team since 2016.

In his new role, Peter Lindström will lead the Axis global sales organization, including the company’s three head regions, together with a dedicated Vice President for each region. Vice President for Americas is Fredrik Nilsson, a role he has had since 2016. In EMEA, Anna Forsberg has stepped in as acting Vice President during Verena Rathjen’s maternity leave. And at the beginning of May, Boudewijn Pesch joined Axis to become Vice President for APAC.

Authority comments

Now that we have established our head regions, I feel confident that Peter is the right person to lead our sales organization going forward. He has successfully built and developed New Business into an important department at Axis. That experience will be of great value when developing our sales operations,” says Ray Mauritsson, President and CEO of Axis.

I look forward to take on the responsibility for our global sales organization. We will continue the work of building our organizations in the regions. Our ambition and goals of being closer to the customer is something that we already are doing well today, but I believe we can strengthen this even further. Our organization today is a team of great colleagues enjoying working closely with our customers and partners – I look very much forward of being a part of and leading this global team,” says Peter Lindström.
