ASSA ABLOY’s Aperio technology is incredibly quick and easy to install and put into operation
ASSA ABLOY’s Aperio electronic cylinders are linked to Siemens’ SiPass system online by radio

WEETECH GmbH has been supplying testing systems for cables, backplanes and electric and electronic functional modules for over forty years. The development of WEETECH’s longterm, customer relationships based on trust has been accompanied by continuous expansion of its product range and consistent growth on the world market. Today, WEETECH is a globally active company with subsidiaries and representative offices in over twenty countries. At its Wertheim location, the company’s head office, WEETECH uses Siemens security technology. It decided to install a modern electronic access control system to eliminate the large number of keys, increase transparency and save on administration costs. Siemens SiPass system is used to provide time and attendance and access control.

First of all, the main entrance was equipped with a card reader for access control. The terminal on which the 70 employees record their working hours is located in the foyer. A second stage involved extending the system to include more access readers. The company decided to use Aperio electronic cylinders by ASSA ABLOY, which are linked to the SiPass system online by radio. This is a cost-effective solution as no wiring is required on the door when installed. The system controls access online in real time. Sales representative Uwe Karle from Siemens Würzburg: “Aperio technology is incredibly quick and easy to install and put into operation. Since the radio hub is connected to the access controller as an extra card reader, configuration is completed very quickly with no complications. The Aperio technology is eminently suitable for extending existing customer systems to include more doors.”
