Antare has unveiled a new security platform that leverages body-worn and fixed cameras to enhance physical security operations.
Based in the UK, Antare employs artificial intelligence to review security footage automatically. The AI-driven system detects incidents, alerts teams, and logs events, thereby converting routine operations into actionable insights aimed at improving performance and reducing operational risks. The platform supports Antare’s body-worn cameras and integrates with existing camera systems.
Enhanced Incident Contextualization
Antare's body-worn cameras are adept at capturing footage before, during, and after incidents, providing context that is crucial for organizations. This capability aids in understanding events, protecting employees, and managing liabilities—especially significant amid increasing threats of abuse and violence toward frontline workers. Users are no longer required to initiate recordings amidst confrontations, as the cameras function seamlessly in real-time.
AI-Driven Surveillance and Alerts
Antare provides two body-worn camera models suitable for US, UK, and EU markets
The Antare Console automatically processes all recorded video and audio. It transcribes, indexes, and scores each event using separate AI agents that detect specific signals, such as physical and verbal assaults, suspicious behavior, safety risks, medical situations, or weapon presence. Alerts and live video are immediately sent to team members through the Antare App. Additionally, the system identifies patterns often overlooked during manual reviews, such as repeat offenders and frequent problem areas, and users can delve deeper using free text search. Daily email summaries keep users informed of key events.
Flexible Camera Options
Antare provides two body-worn camera models suitable for US, UK, and EU markets. The Antare Body-worn Camera Pro is tailored for challenging environments, offering long battery life, GPS functionality, and robust durability. The Antare Body-worn Camera Compact is a discreet, lightweight option for customer-facing roles. Both models can be charged with the Antare Dock, which accommodates up to four cameras. These are accessible via a flexible monthly subscription model without a minimum order or fixed term. Additionally, cellular connectivity and unlimited access to the Antare Console are provided.
Upcoming Features with Antare Cloud Gateway
The forthcoming Antare Cloud Gateway will merge Antare’s cloud capabilities with existing fixed camera networks, allowing seamless management within a single console. Users will be able to pick from pre-configured alarms or customize their own using free text descriptions. Antare’s comprehensive range of fixed cameras is anticipated in early 2027, accompanied by installation through accredited partners. Interested partners can register at Antare’s official website.
Data Security and Compliance Standards
Additionally, cellular connectivity and unlimited access to the Antare Console are provided
Antare ensures security and compliance with data encryption both on devices and during transmission, erasing footage from devices upon cloud storage.
Stored data is region-specific (UK, EU, or US) and is automatically deleted after 30 days unless flagged for retention. Antare is certified SOC 2 Type I and compliant with GDPR, with further certifications in progress.
Bridging Gaps in Security Solutions
According to Mark Michaelides, CEO of Antare, "Antare was founded on the belief that today’s physical security platforms are failing to deal effectively with emerging safety and operational risks, leaving businesses with expensive legacy investments that do not fulfill their evolving needs. Traditional security solutions have focused on after-the-fact review, while more modern systems have enabled live alerts. Antare has built a different type of intelligence platform to deliver both, while shortening time from alert to triage and enabling quicker post-incident investigation.”
Following successful trials with private security, hospitality, and retail sectors, Antare’s body-worn cameras are now available on subscription, with the Cloud Gateway set to launch soon, offering a unified console that transforms disparate data into actionable intelligence.
