Hugh Devereux, new Director of Product Management at Dedicated MicrosCCTV specialist AD Group - the parent company of Dedicated Micros - announces that Hugh Devereux is being promoted to the position of Director of Product Management for DM, accountable directly to the CEO of AD Group, with reporting responsibilities to the AD Group Board.

Devereux, who is currently Head of Product Management, joined Dedicated Micros from Baxall in 2005.  In his enhanced role, he will be responsible for all aspects of product management from initial concept to the development and introduction of new models and their life cycle management and positioning.  In addition, Devereux will oversee the adaptive engineering of products to meet specific application requirements.

Said Hugh Devereux: "I am delighted to have been offered this wide ranging role.  Product development and management has been a key element of Dedicated Micros success to date.  This is undoubtedly an exciting time to be leading this vital function, given our industry-leading suite of NetVu Connected solutions with enhanced capabilities such as High Definition CCTV.  The recent addition of the ICE range of cameras and mini-domes has further strengthened our ability to offer powerful end-to-end solutions.

"At Dedicated Micros, we recognize, increasingly, that it is not just about the provision of standard "off the shelf" products.  We are now in a position to offer a flexible toolkit to system integrators, with PowerScript and a customisable browser interface, so they can adapt standard products to their own needs.  I believe that this further broadens our system solutions offerings, and that this flexibility will become an ever more critical asset for our customers."

Said AD Group's CEO Mike Newton: "We are extremely pleased to confirm Hugh's promotion which reflects the substantial contribution he has been making to the business at a strategic level.  Hugh's promotion also underlines the importance we place on our product management function to effectively introduce our hugely exciting product developments across the globe."
