Johnson Controls, the global pioneer for smart, healthy, and sustainable buildings, was named the overall pioneer for its smart building management platform in the Smart Building Management Platforms competitive assessment, conducted by ABI Research, a global technology intelligence firm.

Researchers assessed the Johnson Controls OpenBlue ecosystem of connected technologies and services, scoring it highest in implementation among nine other platform providers. The findings were reconfirmed in ABI Research’s 55 Technology Leaders To Watch In 2024 report.
