Genetec Inc. has implemented its Security Center platform to unify the physical security systems at SoFi Stadium and the Hollywood Park complex.
This multipurpose venue, renowned as the home of the Los Angeles Rams and Chargers, has become a hotspot for major concerts and international sporting events. The integration with Genetec's platform aims to enhance security management across the 3.1 million-square-foot stadium and the 300-acre park area.
Integrated Security Systems
To meet the demands of large-scale events, SoFi Stadium has standardized its security operations using Security Center, which consolidates video surveillance, access control, automatic license plate recognition (ALPR), and other systems. The venue now operates over 3,000 cameras and 700 access readers, alongside various other sensors and systems. These are monitored from three security control rooms, significantly improving operational efficiency and situational awareness for the security teams.

Since the deployment of Security Center, the IT team at SoFi Stadium has relied on a scalable and secure platform operating on an isolated network. This infrastructure connects to centralized servers, enabling the Network Operations Center to oversee system performance during events, ensuring all security operations run smoothly. The IT team's support allows the security personnel to efficiently manage everyday tasks while maintaining a robust backend system.
