Comcast Smart Solutions, a division of Comcast Corporation that specializes in smart technology solutions for businesses and communities announced that it is expanding its relationship with the City of College Park (College Park), Georgia with AI-powered video analytics in its downtown area.
This technology will provide valuable data and insights, informing plans for more efficient traffic, local business growth, and more.

Established in 1890, College Park has been steadfast in its mission to cultivate a community where businesses, families, and individuals can work, play, and live in a better environment.
College Park began its collaboration with Comcast Smart Solutions in 2022 to upgrade the city’s public WiFi network and help the city monitor a heavily trafficked area. The city is once again partnering with Comcast Smart Solutions to introduce more advanced video analytics on its Main Street.

College Park’s bustling Main Street – a hub of shops, restaurants, and green spaces, is equipped with advanced AI video analytics solutions from C2RO.
The deployment was made even more cost-effective by easily integrating it into existing camera infrastructure. The city will use vehicle, pedestrian, and bicycle traffic analytics to inform and help improve flow and path patterns. Metrics will be shared with local businesses and inform city growth plans.
