VidSys 7.6 increases the ease of use for operators and system administrators, providing more systemic user-defined flexibilities
The VidSys 7.6 upgrade provides enhanced functionality and an expanded suite of product security tools

VidSys, a world leader in Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software, recently announced the release of version 7.6 of its software platform. The upgrade provides enhanced functionality, increased operating efficiency and an expanded suite of product security tools and features.

New functionality in VidSys 7.6 increases the ease of use for operators and system administrators, providing more systemic user-defined flexibilities and a host of customization options that include detailed new configuration tools, improved visual enhancements, variable settings and expanded search capabilities. Administrators have more granular options for setting and controlling password protocols.

Operating efficiencies include: expanded options for device controls and access privileges; enhanced scalability to handle massive spikes of data usage; core tools for reduction of server loads; advanced mapping capabilities for faster and higher refresh of screens; and comprehensive device layering on maps for enhanced visualisation for operators. This release also inaugurates what will be routine enhancements as needed to incorporate frequently-evolving best practices for the delivery of rigorous security for the VidSys platform and the operations center environment.

“This latest release of VidSys software provides cutting-edge features, more efficient and more secure functionality for our innovative physical security and information management software platform,” said James I. Chong, founder and CTO of VidSys. “Our commitment is to support the mission-centered focus of our customers globally to protect people, physical assets and critical infrastructure.”
