To further demonstrate its commitment to its customers, AtlasIED, a global electronics manufacturer providing comprehensive audio, communications, and security solutions for commercial markets, announced the hiring of Tom Kachnik as Transportation Sales Manager for the Western United States.

Kachnik will focus on increasing the adoption of AtlasIED’s transportation solutions in the region, including the GLOBALCOM enterprise communications platform.

Prior roles of Kachnik

Kachnik is an audio industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience in enterprise communications systems. He has developed and deployed large audiovisual systems across North America, including projects for Caesars Entertainment, Google, MGM, and Facebook.

Prior to joining AtlasIED, Kachnik served as General Manager for Integration and Live Production at Solotech, a Montreal-based global systems integration and staging company. Prior to joining Solotech, Kachnik held positions with a variety of audio companies including PSX, Ford Audio-Visual, and Plus 4 Marketing.

Tom brings a wealth of knowledge to AtlasIED about the IPTV, SAAS, enterprise control, video, and endpoint systems deployment markets,” said John Goodrich, Director of Global Installed Systems at AtlasIED. “All of these markets are experiencing tremendous growth and we look forward to adding his expertise to help expand the business for the company in the Western U.S. while providing customers with the highest level of service.”

AtlasIED has a wide range of audio and mass communications solutions for the transportation market. More than 300 airports worldwide have installed the company’s GLOBALCOM enterprise communications platform, plus multiple train, subway, and bus stations throughout the world.

GLOBALCOM is a comprehensive mass notification system that unifies VoIP, visual messaging, emergency notification, and voice evac into one solution. The product line includes controllers, servers, communications stations, amplifiers, and visual displays and these products are installed throughout mass transit stations from security centers to passenger areas.
