ASSA ABLOY Access Control, a UK division of ASSA ABLOY, a manufacturer of door opening solutions, has strengthened its technical support expertise with the appointment of David Smyth.

Responsibilities

David will be responsible for managing technical inquiries, helping to resolve any issues quickly and efficiently, whether over the phone or by a site visit. He will also be tasked with leading the division’s training courses for its extensive customer base of OEMs and system integrators, highlighting best practice and addressing common industry challenges.

Having graduated from the University of the West Scotland in 2015, David went onto work for eXPD8, installing and monitoring security solutions for retailers based in London and the South East, before securing the role with ASSA ABLOY Access Control.

Technical Expertise

He said: “ASSA ABLOY Access Control has established itself as a global leader in supplying wireless locking technology for commercial building projects across the UK, and I am thrilled to be part of such a dynamic and forward-thinking organization. I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge and expertise with the company, helping to oversee any engineering queries or challenges that customers might be facing.”
