Together, SALTO and Clay developed the technology that SALTO uses in its SALTO KS Keys as a Service cloud-based access control. There are several reasons why the market is moving to the cloud: easier maintenance, scalability, reliability, reduced cost and the ability to use anywhere via the internet.
