MARCH has inaugurated a new regional hub at Meadowhall Business Park in Sheffield, signaling a substantial investment in Yorkshire’s burgeoning economy and facilitating the company's ongoing growth.
This new establishment consolidates the operations from the company’s former Chesterfield and Leeds offices into one unified location, fostering a collaborative environment conducive to innovation, training, and development.
Enhanced Accessibility and Facilities
Strategically located with excellent transport links via train, tram, bus, and road, the Sheffield hub offers convenient access for employees and customers throughout the region.
The modern facility is equipped with dedicated meeting rooms and an expansive test area for hands-on technical activities, all designed to improve the employee experience and customer service.
Significant Investment
“This move represents a significant investment in both our people and the region,” stated Christopher Kehoe, CEO at MARCH, adding “Bringing our teams together in Sheffield gives us the opportunity to collaborate more closely, share ideas, and strengthen our culture. It’s about creating an environment where talent can grow and where innovation happens naturally.”
Educational and Industrial Synergies
The Sheffield location strengthens MARCH's commitment to investing in skills and capabilities in the North
The Sheffield location strengthens MARCH's commitment to investing in skills and capabilities in the North, leveraging the city’s reputation as a hub for engineering and technology education.
This provides the company with access to a vast pool of technically skilled graduates, reinforcing its dedication to fostering digital expertise in the area.
Newly Launched Digital Apprenticeship Program
The hub will also host MARCH's newly introduced digital apprenticeship program, an initiative designed to tackle the national shortage in automation and control systems skills.
Fully funded by MARCH, the program merges academic learning with practical application, facilitated through the MARCH Academy. Apprentices, starting in 2025, will work out of the new hub, gaining hands-on project experience guided by seasoned mentors.
Developing Future-Ready Skills
This apprenticeship program is integral to MARCH’s broader strategy to nurture future-ready skills and establish a consistent training framework across its regional network.
“We believe this investment allows us to serve our customers more effectively,” stated Christopher Kehoe, adding “The Sheffield hub connects our expertise across the North, helping us deliver faster, more consistent results and giving customers direct access to the full range of our capabilities.”
The establishment of the Sheffield hub underscores MARCH’s persistent investment in regional development, contributing to the creation of high-quality digital positions and bolstering the local economy.
