Expansion with Key Acquisitions
Scion Communications Limited, based in the South of England, specializes in fire safety and security systems, including fire alarms, security systems, and access control. This acquisition broadens Ranger's reach in the region, adding to its previous acquisitions such as Universal, Fidelity, and Partnership. Scion's diverse commercial clientele includes education sector entities, reflecting Ranger's commitment to expanding its service offerings.
Emerald Fire Technology, situated in Cork, focuses on fire and gas detection for commercial and government clients in the Munster region. The acquisition of this business enhances Ranger's coverage and incorporates gas detection into its range of services. Emerald Fire's proximity to existing Ranger business B-Safe further strengthens Ranger's operational network.

Leadership teams from both Scion and Emerald Fire will remain in place, ensuring continuity and a focus on customer-centric service. This organizational structure will also facilitate potential cross-selling opportunities with other Ranger businesses in the vicinity, aiming to fuel growth and innovation within the Group.
The acquisitions are particularly significant as they are the first since Inflexion, a European mid-market investment firm, acquired a majority stake in Ranger. This investment is intended to drive Ranger's growth and acquisition strategy across the UK and Ireland, aiding further integration of back-office functions and enhancing the Group's national presence.
