GVD launches National IP Experience Roadshow
NIPX 2010 has evolved from its highly successful National IP Video Surveillance and Security seminars
GVD, a specialist value-added distributor of IP technology, is inviting everyone involved with the professional security industry to attend its third annual National IP Video Surveillance and Security seminar - now renamed National IP Experience Roadshow 2010 (NIPX 2010).

Visiting Dublin and Galway on 12 and 14 October respectively, the event showcases the best innovative technologies from leading companies - with the first 100 companies to register receiving free gifts totalling €1280.

GVD's annual National IP Experience Roadshow 2010 (NIPX 2010) has evolved over the last two years from its highly successful National IP Video Surveillance and Security seminars. The events are designed to help everyone involved in the security industry to find out more about the latest IP surveillance and security technology, acting as a showcase of the best new products and solutions from leading security manufacturers.

At both events, visitors can participate in the seminar programme with presentations, case studies and live demonstrations from senior representatives of the exhibiting companies, including Milestone, ACTi, IQinVision, Netgenium, Netwatch, ACT, Pivot3 and BriefCam. The seminars aim to cover a wide range of technologies including megapixel IP cameras, video management software, remote monitoring, wireless networking, video analytics, IP video synopsis systems, PoE access, lighting and audio control and much more.

The roadshow is part of GVD's continued commitment to promote the benefits of IP technologies

The roadshow is part of GVD's continued commitment to promote the benefits of IP technologies to the Irish professional security market. It has recently established the National IP Experience Centre at its offices in Dublin to act as a learning hub providing extensive training and support programmes to assist installers making the transition to IP surveillance.

Gordon Smith, Managing Director, GVD, commented: "NIPX2010 is a big part of our continued commitment and promotion of IP technologies to the security industry in Ireland. As well as the new products, the seminars will cover real life practical Irish case studies of IP security in action. We are particularly delighted to be introducing BriefCam, who were the winners of the ‘Best CCTV System Product' at IFSEC 2010 - to this year's seminar. We would encourage you to come along and see the infinite possibilities IP surveillance presents."

The roadshows will take place on Tuesday 12 October at the Red Cow Moran Hotel, located close to the M50/N7 interchange on the outskirts of Dublin, and Thursday 14 October at the Maldron Hotel, Oranmore - just 10 minutes from the centre of Galway.

Admission to both roadshows is free - registration is required. GVD has teamed up with its partners to offer giveaways to attendees totalling €128,000. GVD is offering a ‘goody bag' with items worth €1280 for the first one hundred companies who register for NIPX 2010. The goody bag contains Milestone XProtect Professional video management software including one base licence and two additional camera licences worth €780, plus a €500 voucher redeemable with Netwatch remote monitoring services.
