Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International Airport has chosen the Pelco Endura 2.0 IP video system

Pelco Management is pleased to announce that Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International Airport has chosen the Pelco Endura 2.0 IP video system. Built to accommodate the growing number of international flights to this booming metropolis, this new airport will serve more than 25 million passengers a year.

The new Endura 2.0 system will have more than 1,300 cameras, of which approximately 900 are Sarix megapixel cameras. About 60 NSM5200 Series Network Storage Managers will be used for recording. The company's experience in city surveillance and highway traffic management in Turkey served as important references for Pelco.

"Keys to this win are Endura 2.0's failover recording and RAID6 disk management, and the auto back focus capability in our Sarix cameras," says Yusuf Ziya Oncel, Pelco Project Sales Manager. "Our dealer Corvus was confident in recommending Endura, based on its high performance and recording quality, as well as the support and customer service Corvus enjoys from Pelco."

Atilgan Yilmaz, General Manager of Corvus, states the reason for preferring Pelco is the working relationship developed between the two companies during the last four years. "Pelco is our solution partner of choice in CCTV systems. We have achieved many City surveillance applications in Turkey based on Endura. Pelco has been our trusted partner with both peer-to-peer IP video solutions and all technical solutions."
