Assan Motor and Atlas Khodro, both the subsidiaries of Geramies Business Group (GBG), are located in Tehran and Kish Island, respectively. Tehran is Iran's largest city and urban area, and the largest city in Western Asia. Kish Island, located in the Persian Gulf, is part of the Hormozgan Province of Iran. Assan Motor and Atlas Khodro serve as official distributor of Hyundai Motor and KIA Motor in Iran. The security of both companies is highly valued. Assan Motor, and Atlas Khodro, both decided to expand their secure surveillance system for creating a safer environment for their inside offices and outside areas. Assan Motor and Atlas Khodro commissioned Pooya Fara Negar (PFN) to carry out the project. In order to meet the demand, PFN carried out the project with VIVOTEK. With VIVOTEK’s high-quality cameras at suitable prices, Assan Motor and Atlas Khodro have installed several models in the showrooms, offices, car warehouses, service centers and outside areas. The two companies are extremely pleased with the performances of VIVOTEK cameras, indicating that the image quality is impeccable and the technologies implemented on the products are highly advanced and suitable for professional projects as such. The deployment of VIVOTEK’s cameras was completed in February 2014.
Solution
In showrooms and offices, FD8164 and FD8136 were selected and installed for their small sizes, quality design, and excellent image quality. VIVOTEK FD8164 is an easy-to-use fixed dome network camera specifically designed for indoor security applications with a compact, stylish exterior. Designed with 2-Megapixel CMOS Sensor, FD8164 is capable of capturing high quality and high resolution video. VIVOTEK FD8136 is the world’s smallest fixed dome network camera. With installation as easy as one-two-three and Power over Ethernet functionality, setup time is completed in less than 120 seconds, making installation quick and easy.
As for the outdoor and parking areas, IP8362 and IP8372 were installed for their Full HD and 5MP resolutions. VIVOTEK IP8362 is a best-in-class 1080p outdoor bullet network camera designed for diverse outdoor applications. With full HD resolution in 16:9 aspect ratio and WDR enhancement, users can identify image details in extremely bright as well as dark environments. VIVOTEK IP8372 is a professional bullet camera offering 5-Megapixel or 1080p Full HD resolution with superb image quality up to 30 fps. Featuring 5-Megapixel resolution and high-performance H.264/MPEG-4/MJPEG compression technology, the IP8372 offers extra-smooth video and wide coverage.
There are 65 FD8164, 20 FD8136, 66 IP8362, and 30 IP8372 installed. In total, Assan Motor and Atlas Khodro deployed 181 VIVOTEK cameras.
