Nedap and Marc O’Polo developed two access cards - one for employees and one for visitors

Some 600 employees enter and leave the premises each day at the headquarters of Marc O’Polo in Stephanskirchen. Steady growth over recent years made it necessary to improve the process of access control. A system was needed that provided multiple functions and met the requirements. Marc O’Polo wanted a user-friendly system to prevent people from accessing the premises unauthorized, without causing inconvenience to employees.

As a fashion brand, Marc O’Polo had its own requirements when it came to the design of employee ID cards. It matched with the corporate identity and the requirements of a modern premium casual brand, and was clearly showing the company to whom the card belongs. Attached to a quality leather strap, the security cards look like an everyday fashion accessory.

Fast Implementation

One challenge when implementing any system is user-friendliness. At Marc O’Polo, this was even more important, because AEOS is managed from the reception area. AEOS’s implementation at Marc O’Polo went smoothly and the system was well received and accepted in a short time.
