Vigilant takes part in the Pivot3 High-Definition Storage Alliane Program
Vigilant Technology, a wholly owned subsidiary of BATM Advanced Communications, announced that it has joined the Pivot3 High-Definition Storage™ Alliance program, offering service and support for Pivot3 technology customers worldwide.

Vigilant NetView, end-to-end fully digital security and surveillance system provides enhanced video handling accuracy, flexibility and alarms management. NetView gives instant access to live and recorded video from any camera on any monitor and is easily scalable to support unlimited input channels. Vigilant NetView is fully integrated with Pivot3's storage solution.

Pivot3 is the fastest growing storage company in the high-definition storage market, with its award-winning High-Definition Video Storage technology being deployed in the gaming, homeland security, public safety, education and transportation markets. Pivot3 introduced the innovative RAIGE™ (RAID Across Gigabit Ethernet) architecture that redefined the use of storage in large capacity and bandwidth-intensive environments. For markets such as surveillance and video streaming, Pivot3 has replaced stand-alone DAS RAID boxes with an IP SAN solution that matches the availability, manageability, performance and cost targets of customers in these vertical market segments.

"Vigilant is delighted to be working with such an innovative storage company, further strengthening the company's IP-based solution offering for high-end CCTV security and surveillance applications. Vigilant's products open architecture makes it possible for us to work with the leading companies such as Pivot3," said Ohad Kleinman, director of product management at Vigilant. "Vigilant is committed to delivering best-of-breed solutions for its customers, and we recognize that this can only be done by working with the best technology in the field. With its leading-edge, proven technology, Pivot3 is bringing to our customers; storage solutions that integrate smoothly in their existing environments, providing all the benefits of an enterprise-class iSCSI SAN solution. With our strong customer base, we have the perfect opportunity to quickly bring this new class of storage to our chosen markets."

"We are delighted to have Vigilant join the growing Pivot3 HD Storage Alliance program," said Lee Caswell, co-founder and CMO of Pivot3. "The best partnerships are driven by joint sales opportunities and a mutual commitment to sell and support products in the field together. Along with standards-based products, this industry partnership forms a cornerstone of the successful open-systems model, which is taking over the industry as customers demand best-in-class products that interoperate in their multi-vendor environments."
