ASSA ABLOY has successfully acquired International Door Products (IDP), a manufacturer based in the United States known for producing both standard and custom fire-rated steel door frames.
This strategic acquisition aims to bolster ASSA ABLOY's market presence by integrating additional solutions into its core offerings.

Founded in 1977, IDP operates with approximately 80 employees out of its main office and manufacturing facility located in Southfield, Michigan, USA.
The company reported sales of around USD 29 million (approx. SEK 300 million) for 2024, achieving a strong EBIT margin. The acquisition is expected to positively influence ASSA ABLOY’s earnings per share from the outset.
