Wipro Limited has introduced its new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Command Center in collaboration with CrowdStrike, marking a significant step in its cybersecurity efforts. This Command Center aims to tackle AI-accelerated risks by shifting enterprise security towards a proactive, risk-informed approach that aligns with business objectives.
The CISO Command Center supports Wipro's cybersecurity strategy by transitioning enterprises from traditional, tool-based operations to a comprehensive, risk-led model. Utilizing Wipro Intelligence™ solutions—specifically CyberTransformSM and CyberShieldSM—and employing the CrowdStrike Falcon® platform, the center will offer integrated protection. This encompasses endpoint security, cloud security, exposure management, and AI security, all under the guidance of a modern Security Operations Center (SOC).
Addressing AI-Driven Risks
Amar Bysani, the Global Practice Head for Cybersecurity and Risk Services at Wipro Limited, noted the increasing pressures cyber risks exert on corporate decision-making.
"Cyber risk is intensifying pressure on boardroom decision-making. Threats that once remained dormant for months can now materialize within hours, driven by external triggers and AI-enabled exploitation," Bysani commented. He highlighted the Command Center's role in transforming security alerts into business risk intelligence, enabling enterprises to respond rapidly and effectively.
Collaboration and Innovation
Daniel Bernard, Chief Business Officer at CrowdStrike, emphasized the transformative impact of AI on both threats and defense strategies. "AI is fundamentally changing both the threat landscape and how enterprises run defense programs. Together, CrowdStrike and Wipro are giving CISOs the AI-native security, intelligence, and services they need to turn risk into action at machine speed and transform security into a business advantage,"
Bernard said. Wipro's inclusion in CrowdStrike's Project QuiltWorks further consolidates this effort, as the global coalition works on identifying and addressing frontier AI risks.
