Sony Network Surveillance Video Server NSR-1100/2T - Hybrid Server With 2TB Storage
Product Profile
Explore the best video security options through our unique hybrid technology solutions
Advance your capabilities with Sony's NSR-1000 Series that gives you the foundation to embrace different technologies. You can mix and match different equipment; integrate your existing system with new solutions; and migrate to the future of video security, IP and full HD, at your own pace. IP cameras offer many benefits over their analog counterparts - such as greater flexibility, integration, functionality and return on investment. As such, IP is set to become the future of video security. However, if you're already heavily invested in an analog system, you may think it's too disruptive and costly to make the move right now. Thankfully, it's not the case. With Sony's NSR-1000 Network Surveillance Server, you can lay the foundations of your future IP system, while maintaining full support of your existing analog installation.
Benefits include:
Hybrid operation. The NSR-1000 series accepts up to 16 analog cameras and up to 64 IP cameras - so you can operate a mixed analog/IP camera environment, seamlessly. This gives you a risk-free migration route to the world of IP. Start small if you like with just one IP camera. Then add more cameras as required or when your budget allows.
Open platform. The NSR-1000 series is an open platform. It is compatible with all of Sony's analog and IP cameras, plus all third-party analog cameras and many third-party IP cameras. It also supports a variety of third-party software solutions through Sony's ISV programme.
Easy to set up and use. The on-board set-up wizard automatically detects Sony-branded IP cameras, so you don't have to spend time manually inserting IP addresses etc. It also assigns camera images to the monitor layout automatically, so you can start monitoring straight away. Furthermore, the intuitive graphical user interface makes searching, previewing and playing back recorded video a breeze.
DEPA intelligence. If you choose Sony for your IP camera, you can also get the added benefit of DEPA - Sony's Distributed Enhanced Processing Architecture. This will help you to identify critical events more easily through Intelligent Video Analysis, which will streamline your video security operations.
