Verkada, recognized for its advancements in Physical AI, has appointed Chris Stori as the new Chief Information Officer. In his role, Stori will be responsible for overseeing the company's corporate IT strategy, business systems, and broader technology-driven initiatives aimed at supporting Verkada’s continued expansion.

Hardware-software Integration
Stori brings to Verkada his extensive experience in enterprise networking and hardware-software integration. Before joining the company, he served as CEO at Bright Machines. His 11-year tenure at Cisco, where he held various significant leadership roles, showcases his proficiency in high-impact strategic operations.
Notably, Stori held the position of Senior Vice President and General Manager of Networking Experiences, where he managed a substantial portfolio for Enterprise Networking, IoT, and Meraki. His strategic initiatives were crucial in growing Meraki's customer base from 18,000 to over 600,000. Early in his career, he worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company, advising on international market expansion strategies.

This appointment follows a record-breaking fiscal year for Verkada, during which revenue increased by 30% compared to the previous year. The company now serves over 31,000 customers globally, among them more than 100 of the Fortune 500. A significant portion of Verkada's client base has adopted multiple product lines: 78% use two or more, 54% use three or more, and on average, customers nearly double their initial investment within the first year.

Verkada recently introduced AI-powered deterrence, which employs advanced vision, audio, and language models to detect and warn potential intruders before incidents occur.
