Edesix, a provider of Body Worn Camera solutions, announces further expansion of its sales team through the appointment of Calum Miller. Edesix enjoyed a record year of success in 2016 where it won a host of large contracts in the UK and abroad, including the contract to supply the UK Prison Services. It was also nominated for a Scottish Export Award.

VideoTag VT-50

The firm is now looking to build on this success with the appointment of Calum Miller, who joins Edesix as Business Development Manager where he will have responsibility for Edesix’s new VideoTag range of Incident Recorders. Released in June 2017, the VideoTag VT-50 is Edesix’s smallest camera yet. Designed to complement the over-arching video security function, the VT-50 boasts 3 months of stand-by battery life, is fully compatible with ONStream, Edesix’s VMS gateway software, and has the ability to stream and offload footage over WiFi.

Joining Edesix with over seventeen years’ experience at senior level within the SaaS and Video Conferencing industries, Miller brings a wealth of knowledge that will enhance the company’s managed services and cloud solutions.

Previous Experience

“I’m pleased to be joining Edesix at a time when the company is experiencing tremendous growth and success” commented Miller.

“Having spent the last few years as the Director of a videoconferencing and asset management company within the UK, the prospect of leading the way in this relatively new market space of Incident Recorders is an exciting challenge, and one that my past experience lends itself to.”

Ken Fiddes, Sales Director at Edesix commented of the appointment: “Calum will make the perfect addition to the team. As we work more closely with our VMS partners, the VideoTag range and ONStream software platform are becoming integral to the video security landscape. I’m confident that Calum will play a key role in ensuring we meet our goals within this market.”
