SeeTec has expanded in 2009 as well. The manufacturer of the most powerful video management software SeeTec 5 has, according to IMS Research, been able to defend their second place EMEA position, in the category "Software-only Vendors of Open Platform Network Video Management Software". The EMEA market share increased by over 4 % to 24.3 % and the gap to the market leader could be further reduced. After the successful entry onto the French and Belgian markets, thanks to the opening of an office in Paris last year, new SeeTec markets in Europe have been added.

As of 1st May 2009, Mr. Gürkan Esenkova has been handling the Turkish market from Istanbul. Mr. Esenkova holds a degree in electronic engineering and has many years of experience in the CCTV sector. Prior to this, he worked for a large Turkish installation contractor as the project leader responsible for IP-based security solutions.

And in August, Ms. Natalia Hoffmann joined the company, who will be managing the East European markets, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan from her base in Vienna. She also has many years of experience in the industry and used to work in the IP video software sector.

As of September, Mr. Thomas Fernström will be managing the Scandinavian markets from his base in Stockholm. Mr. Fernström joins SeeTec from ADI Global, and will take on the role as Sales Manager Scandinavia with the responsibility for sales in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark. His activities at ADI have mean that he has considerable knowledge and many years experience in the CCTV industry.

Kaj Svenningson, International Sales Director at SeeTec is pleased with the new sites and the qualified additional members of staff. "It is of great importance to us to be in a position to offer our clients qualified consulting services on site. Moreover, there is considerable potential for growth in Turkey and Russia in particular. In the Scandinavian market, IP Video has already achieved a high level of acceptance which brings about interesting projects at a high technical level." The opening of new locations is, in his opinion, an important milestone, but further penetration into the European market is already in planning.
