Vicon Industries, Inc., trusted designer and producer of video security systems and high-performance IP cameras, announced recently some exciting changes to their “plug and play” video solution. In keeping with Vicon’s new directive to drive towards standards-based interoperation, Vicon will now offer an easy integration between the affordable, easy-to-install HDExpress NVRs and Express DVRs with ViconNet, Vicon’s premiere VMS integration platform.

Using ONVIF Standard For Integration:

The use of integration Standards like ONVIF is helping to deliver a new range of effective solutions to the market, and Vicon is setting the pace to deliver these solutions that can be leveraged to improve profitability and empower our partners to deliver unique competitive solutions. The integration of the Express lines into an enterprise VMS integration platform is just a part of an exciting new direction Vicon is heading towards. Other exciting announcements include the launch of an IP Access Control and one of the first VMS platforms to fully support the latest 4K/12MP cameras.
