Head of Secure Land Communications, Airbus Defence and Space (formerly Cassidian)Olivier Koczan is the Head of Secure Land Communications at Airbus Defense and Space. He has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications business and international markets. Previously as Head of Sales within the Communications, Intelligence & Security business line at Airbus Defense and Space, he led a large sales and marketing team with employees of 35 nationalities based in 27 countries. The CIS portfolio encompasses solutions for SatCom services, Geo Intelligence, Integrated Systems and Secure Land Communications, with the most business coming from international markets. Olivier Koczan has a master’s degree in Electronic Engineering and an MBA from the European Institute of Business Administration (INSEAD). He is also a graduate of the Institute of Advanced Studies in National Defense (IHEDN), a French public institution for expertise in and sensitization towards defense matters.
