Situated in Meade County, this district supports around 350 students and 40 staff members across its two schools, comprising an elementary school serving pre-K through 8th grade and a high school. ZeroEyes' integration with the district's current safety measures complements systems like SafeDefend, which notifies personnel and emergency responders during incidents, alongside a robust camera setup, secured entrances, and additional access controls.

Funding for the ZeroEyes deployment was sourced from the Kansas Safe and Secure Firearm Detection Grant Program, managed by the Kansas Attorney General's Office. This grant was obtained following coordinated efforts with local law enforcement and community stakeholders, highlighting AI gun detection as a pivotal part of broader safety strategies.

This center is the only fully US-based, round-the-clock operations facility staffed by trained US military and law enforcement veterans. If recognized as a legitimate threat, alerts and critical information, including a visual description, weapon type, and last known position, are quickly relayed to law enforcement and school administrators, often within seconds of detection.

If a gun is identified, images are instantly shared with the ZeroEyes Operations Center (ZOC), the industry’s only U.S.-based, fully in-house operations center staffed 24/7/365 by specially trained U.S. military and law enforcement veterans.
If the threat is determined to be valid, alerts and actionable intelligence — including visual description, gun type, and last known location — are dispatched to law enforcement and school officials, often in a matter of seconds from the moment a gun is detected.
