This development, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy, marks a significant step in ensuring advanced security measures for federal agencies.

The government-grade platform from Verkada supports a range of product lines, such as:
- Video security featuring FIPS 140-validated cameras
- Access Control for managing doors, users, buildings, and permissions
- Command Connector, which integrates third-party cameras

Built on Zero Trust principles, Verkada’s platform offers centralized identity management, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, and role-based permissions. It is equipped with features for enhanced security, including encryption, audit logs, face blurring, privacy regions, and time-limited customer consent for support access. The platform complies with various government standards, such as SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO certifications.
