Veeam Software has appointed Piero Gallucci as Regional Vice President for the United Kingdom and Ireland, a move that reflects the company's commitment to strengthening its operations in the region.
Gallucci brings over 25 years of expertise in sales, channel management, and enterprise technology to his new role, where he will focus on enhancing data resilience, security, and business continuity for Veeam’s customers.
Extensive Experience in Strategic Roles
Before joining Veeam, Piero Gallucci was Area Vice President and General Manager for UK and Ireland at NetApp, where he managed strategic growth and customer success initiatives.
His career also includes significant roles at VMware Tanzu as Vice President of EMEA Sales
His career also includes significant roles at VMware Tanzu as Vice President of EMEA Sales, where he facilitated cloud-native transformation and enterprise adoption, and at Docker, Inc., where he served as Vice President and General Manager for EMEA and APAC. Gallucci has also worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, holding positions such as Director and Head of Sales for the Financial Services Industry and Global Account General Manager for HSBC. His early career featured roles at Intel Corporation, focusing on sales and management in the banking and retail sectors across EMEA.
