Trinity Catholic School in Fort Smith, Arkansas, has implemented the ZeroEyes artificial intelligence (AI) gun detection technology, becoming the first private educational institution in the state to do so.
ZeroEyes, known for its AI-driven video analytics platform that has received the U.S. Department of Homeland Security SAFETY Act Designation, provides proactive measures for identifying potential gun-related threats, enhancing the safety and security of the school.

Spread across a three-story, 105,000-square-foot building on more than 20 acres, Trinity Catholic School previously implemented various security measures, such as advanced door locks, laminated glass, security cameras, and the presence of a full-time security officer.

Advanced AI Gun Detection
ZeroEyes utilizes AI gun detection and intelligent situational awareness technology integrated with existing digital security cameras. Upon detecting a firearm, images are immediately sent to the ZeroEyes Operations Center (ZOC), the only fully in-house U.S.-based operation center staffed round-the-clock by specially trained veterans from the military and law enforcement.
These experts assess the threat validity and disseminate alerts and pertinent intelligence, including visual descriptions, firearm type, and the last known location within 3 to 5 seconds to local authorities and school officials.

The Trinity campus is situated on 20+ acres of property extending to nearby roadways, so ZeroEyes will provide early warning if individuals with weapons approach on foot.
