Teledyne Technologies Incorporated has finalized its acquisition of the TransponderTech division from Saab AB.
This new venture, named Teledyne FLIR TransponderTech AB, is set to join and expand Teledyne’s lineup, which includes Raymarine, FLIR Marine, ChartWorld, and Teledyne CARIS brands, enhancing their offerings in maritime technology solutions.

Located near Linköping, Sweden, the newly established brand will operate as FLIR TransponderTech, continuing to advance its development and delivery of Automatic Identification System (AIS), VHF Data Exchange System (VDES), and Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) technologies.
This acquisition positions FLIR TransponderTech to effectively contribute to maritime communication solutions for civilian and military use across shipping, marine traffic, airborne, and space sectors.
