Sargent and Greenleaf (S&G), a division of STANLEY Security that manufactures high-quality mechanical and electronic locks, has announced the release of its new Digital Time Lock, a high-security solution for small businesses and retail outlets. S&G’s Digital Time Lock is the newest addition to its Digital Platform portfolio, which includes the Audit Lock 2.0 and A-Series with Display.

The lock allows employers to assign four independent schedules for up to 100 users, with four opening windows per day for each schedule, making it an ideal choice for managers of small businesses and retail locations needing to manage access control between multiple employees on various shifts.

Like other S&G locks within the Digital Platform portfolio, the Digital Time Lock offers enhanced audit data, recording up to 1,000 time- and date-stamped audit events with a quick USB download feature. Users also have the ability to store audit trails from multiple locks onto one flash drive.

This lock has been awarded the UL Type 1 certification, with the following certifications pending: EN 1300, Vds Class 2, A2P B/E, ECB-S and CNPP

Effortless Time Setting Review

Along with simplified scheduling and powerful auditing, the Digital Time Lock offers a programming experience through a user-friendly web interface with straightforward, uncomplicated features and without any additional programming software needed.

When programming at the lock itself, the Programmer Code Access allows effortless review of current settings via a large digital display. The Digital Time Lock also offers dual control, automatic daylight savings, a management reset code, time delay up to 99 minutes and a penalty lockout.

UL-Certified Lock

Our Digital Time Lock is the future of managing and securing safes,” said Keith Deaton, COO of Sargent and Greenleaf. “The auditing capabilities of our digital platform, along with the scheduling and management features of this lock, make it possible for small businesses and retail locations to achieve high security with a smarter, faster, more manageable solution.

The Digital Time Lock is available in two bolt types: Model 3006 PIVOTBOLT, which automatically relocks to secure the safe whenever the container’s bolt work moves to the fully-closed position, and the Model 3007 DIRECT DRIVE, with lock bolt retraction and extension that is controlled by turning the keypad, offering dependable manual control of the locking bolt. This lock has been awarded the UL Type 1 certification, with the following certifications pending: EN 1300, Vds Class 2, A2P B/E, ECB-S and CNPP.
