Iris ID has announced that its iA FacePAD algorithm version 2.5.3 has successfully attained Level 2 Presentation Attack Detection (PAD) compliance.
This achievement follows testing conducted by iBeta Quality Assurance, utilizing Iris ID's proprietary iBAR 600E device alongside the iBAR 600E CS REST API demo application. The transition from Level 1 to Level 2 compliance signifies Iris ID’s persistence in developing biometric solutions that can thwart increasingly complex spoofing efforts while safeguarding One Trusted Identity™.

During this evaluation, iBeta recorded an attack presentation classification error rate (APCER) of 0%, with no liveness classification determined for 750 attack attempts. Iris ID is notably acknowledged for advancing iris recognition technology and biometric innovation within critical environments.
