Celebration of the New Facility
Chief Operations Officer Carsten Franke, along with dormakaba Americas leadership, participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony joined by Nogales employees and Mexican government officials. Franke remarked, "Today marks an important milestone for dormakaba. The opening of this new plant in Nogales represents much more than a new facility: it is a key step in building a stronger, resilient, and more flexible manufacturing network - and it reinforces our commitment to drive growth in the North America region and serve our customers with quality, reliability, and speed."

The newly opened facility spans 254,700 square feet and houses over 200 employees. It is responsible for the production and distribution of mechanical and electronic locks to 40 countries, including the U.S., Canada, India, and Germany.
The Nogales plant is noted for its exceptional safety record, having achieved over 300,000 hours without a recordable injury. It is also supported by a leadership team with over 20 years of combined experience.
