Dormakaba has recently acquired Style Group, a prominent distributor of movable-wall solutions based in the United Kingdom. This strategic acquisition reinforces dormakaba's presence in the European market, particularly in one of its largest movable-wall sectors.
With over 25 years of service, Style Group will merge with dormakaba’s Global Movable Walls division, preserving its brand identity and operational autonomy. This approach ensures consistent service and stability for Style’s client base, partners, and its workforce of 100 employees. Notably, Style Group already served as a distributor of dormakaba’s products, and it operates through four regional branches, solidifying a well-established partnership.
Strengthening the Movable-Wall Business
Christian Baur, Chief Technology Officer and President of Key & Wall Solutions and OEM at dormakaba, commented on the acquisition, saying, “The transaction builds on the long-standing relationship with Style, which has been the exclusive distributor of Skyfold and Dorma Hüppe products in the UK.” He further emphasized the opportunity this presents to leverage Style’s extensive client and architectural network to expand dormakaba’s movable-wall business further.
Enhanced Market Access
The transaction is projected to positively impact dormakaba’s Group EPS from the onset
This acquisition provides dormakaba with enhanced access to Style Group's established customer network, which includes leading architectural firms. By tapping into this network, dormakaba’s solutions will be implemented across diverse projects, spanning educational institutions, airports, and major sports facilities. Customers stand to benefit from adaptable space solutions, bolstered by dormakaba’s extensive product offerings.
CEO of dormakaba, Till Reuter, expressed satisfaction with the acquisition, stating, “We are delighted that Style is joining the group. The acquisition supports dormakaba’s growth strategy in the UK by combining complementary assets in sales, services and customer access.”
The transaction is projected to positively impact dormakaba’s Group EPS from the onset. Although specific financial terms remain confidential, the acquisition was finalized on July 5, 2026.
