Alarm Controls introduced AES-100 and AES-200 electric strikes and the APS-300 power supply at the event
Alarm Controls’ new APS-300 access control power supply can support up to three magnetic locks
Alarm Controls, an ASSA ABLOY Group company known for its responsiveness and value, recently introduced the AES-100 and AES-200 electric strikes and the APS-300 power supply at ISC West 2014. Show attendees were able to see the entire Alarm Controls product line at booth #33092 at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas, April 2-4, 2014.

Designed for heavy-duty applications, the all-in-one AES-100 electric strike offers dual voltage and a deep latch cavity to accommodate cylindrical locksets with a 5/8” to 3/4” throw in steel, wood or aluminum frames. It is BHMA Grade 1, UL 1034 burglary resistant and listed to 1500 lbs of static strength. The AES-200 electric strike handles 70 lbs. of preload and is designed for medium-duty applications. It is easy to install and connect and offers variable voltage and accommodates cylindrical locksets with a 5/8” throw. The AES-200 is BHMA Grade 2 and is listed to 1000 lbs static strength and latch monitoring.

Both electric strikes offer field selectable fail secure/fail safe operation, are fully reversible for right or left hand doors, and include two 4-7/8” stainless steel faceplates in the mounting kit.

The new APS-300 UL listed access control power supply is manufactured in the USA and provides sufficient power to support up to three magnetic locks or electric strikes plus required exit devices. The power supply features a universal AC input of 110 to 240 Volts and an output of 3 Amps at 12VDS and 1.5 Amps at 24VDC. It also features one Class 2 power limited output with thermal protection and precise battery regulation for all sealed lead acid batteries.

Alarm Controls offers two additional power supply models, the APS-3004C that includes four outputs and PTC protected distribution board, and the APS-300FT that includes a PDFT fire module.
