Ingersoll Rand is delighted to announce its new link-up with Innovise Enterprise Service Management (ESM) to supply a complete access control, CCTV, intruder alarm and fire alarm management solution in a single ‘integrated' system.
Innovise Enterprise Service Management (ESM) is an independent, specialist IT solutions company experienced in the provision, design, implementation and support of Enterprise Management Solutions.
The link-up draws on the experience of the two companies - Ingersoll Rand for its world-leading biometric access control readers and PegaSys offline electronic locking system and Innovise for its complementary software systems.

The new integrated system will allow users to control access to all exterior doors via biometric hand readers. It will also provide control access to interior doors via the PegaSys electronic locking system. As there is no need for a hard-wired installation, the system is perfect for retrofit and cost-sensitive projects. Furthermore, the ability to add other facilities to the system, including CCTV, intruder alarm and fire alarms, makes it a truly versatile and unique solution.
PegaSys provides a wireless intelligent and cost effective way to upgrade quickly traditional mechanical doors into a fully electronically-controlled access system. This is designed to provide a simple solution to common access control and key management problems such as replacing cylinders when keys are lost, stopping unauthorized key duplication and auditing user access. It is an easy to manage system designed for site managers who wish to improve the security and control of their premises but who are unable to commit to a significant investment or who do not want the inconvenience of having to replace existing doors. It provides many of the benefits of a networked hard wired access control system in terms of function, flexibility, control and security but at a fraction of the cost.
