Octavian’s new accolade will give the business an even stronger foothold to work with utilities providers, for the guarding of power stations and processing sites

This new accreditation recognises the reliability of Octavian’s services and its capacity to deliver consistently

Octavian Security has added yet another string to its bow, after becoming accredited as a top supplier to the utilities sector.

The company was audited by Achilles Information for entry into its UVDB Verify Scheme – which represents the utilities industry – for its standards of practice, capacity to deliver, risk management and compliance with EU regulations.

The auditor commented that it was very rare for a company to achieve such a high score for the quality of its service delivery.

Octavian’s new accolade will give the business an even stronger foothold to work with utilities providers, for the guarding of power stations and processing sites, as well as ports and airports.

“This new accreditation recognises the reliability of Octavian’s services and our capacity to deliver consistently,” commented commercial director Tony Mellor.

“To be recognized by such a key community in the utilities sector is a great boost for us, and we are looking forward to working closely with more clients from the utilities sector in the future.”

Octavian holds many accreditations across a wide range of industries. Last month it was awarded its best ever rating by the Security Industry Authority, putting it in the top five per cent of all 750 Approved Contractors in the UK.
