ASPEED Technology Inc. and its subsidiary, Cupola360 Inc., are currently showcasing their innovations at COMPUTEX 2026 in Taipei. This year, the focus is on cutting-edge server solutions and enhanced data center security.

ASPEED is introducing its new integrated platform control solution, AST1840 Satellite Management Controller (SMC)+eFPGA, alongside a suite of products leveraging the Caliptra 2.x security architecture. Cupola360 is featuring its "Reality Remote Management (RRM)" solutions, designed to integrate hardware, platform software, AI, and IoT control to address challenges like global labor shortages and the operation of high-value sites.

Platform Management Expertise

At COMPUTEX 2026, ASPEED unveils the AST1840 SMC+eFPGA, an integrated platform control solution emerging from its collaboration with Lattice Semiconductor. This system-on-chip (SoC) incorporates an embedded FPGA (eFPGA) into a single platform for the first time, based on an Arm Cortex-M4 processing system and 25K LUT programmable logic.

This allows developers to use the Lattice Diamond tool for custom functionalities

This allows developers to use the Lattice Diamond tool for custom functionalities, simplifying server design while enhancing flexibility and control capabilities for future data center systems. Additionally, AST1840 supports the LTPI interface with 1Gb/s bandwidth, OCP's OBMF-ICP standard protocol, and Streaming Boot functionality, which is built on the Caliptra 2.x Silicon Root of Trust (SiRoT).

Unbreachable System Security Barrier

ASPEED is showcasing a range of platform management and security chips, including the AST1040 SMC and AST1080 PRoT SoC, designed to meet modern server needs by offloading tasks from the main control chip.

These products, together with others like the AST2700 8th-generation BMC and AST1840 SMC+eFPGA, incorporate the Caliptra 2.x SiRoT architecture, ensuring system security through embedded physical anti-tampering features. ASPEED aims to construct a robust security barrier by embedding defenses directly into the chip hardware.

Image Stitching Technology

Cupola360 is expanding its offerings beyond 360-degree panoramic camera modules

Cupola360 is expanding its offerings beyond 360-degree panoramic camera modules to include comprehensive solutions that integrate hardware, software, AI, and IoT controls. The "Next-Gen Omni Speed Dome," featuring patented image stitching technology, is making its first appearance at the event.

This technology delivers real-time 360-degree panoramic monitoring without physical rotation and allows for simultaneous tracking of multiple targets, effectively reducing the limitations of traditional mechanical speed domes. The system is compliant with global ONVIF standards, ensuring compatibility with existing video management systems (VMS) and network video recorders (NVR).

Smart Environmental Perception

Cupola360 has established three major demo zones at the exhibition. The AI Smart Mobile 360° zone highlights the role of its panoramic camera module as a "visual core" for smart vehicles, presenting various patrol robots and robot dogs that enhance inspection efficiency and environmental perception.

The Reality Remote Management zone showcases the integrated Cupola360⁺ software-hardware platform, utilizing RX2000 Smart Patrol Cameras to bring comprehensive remote management applications to life. Lastly, the Cupola360 Modular Bundles zone offers standardized solutions for AI data center operation and maintenance, providing managers with immersive monitoring capabilities and tracking features.

Visitors are invited to visit ASPEED and Cupola360 at Booth M0403a, 4F, Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1, to experience these innovative technologies.
