AMAG Technology, an access control, IP video, intrusion management (IDS) and HD camera solutions provider hosted an open house on October 17 to celebrate its new office location in McLean, Virginia. Over 80 Mid-Atlantic area security consultants, systems integrators and end users attended the daylong event.  

Located in the popular Tyson’s Corner urban district known for its shopping, restaurants and entertainment venues, the office comprises a fully-equipped and state-of-the-art Innovation Center and Training facility. The training facility provides a convenient location for customers who reside in the Eastern half of the US, and has allowed AMAG to increase the number training classes offered.

The Innovation Center features AMAG’s Symmetry Homeland Security Management System and next generation Symmetry SR-Series Controller solution. Symmetry Homeland provides a physical access control system (PACS) capability that has been designed to comply with FIPS 201 and other relevant government standards, directives and guidance in support of smart card programs such as PIV, CAC, TWIC and FRAC, along with a fully-unified and ICD 705 compliant intrusion detection capability. The Innovation Center offers security consultants, systems integrators and end users the opportunity of a hands-on, informative demonstration of AMAG’s Symmetry product line. Customers are encouraged to bring end users to the Innovation Center to see the products up close.

“The open house was an ideal opportunity to interact with our valued customers and business partners,” said AMAG Technology, Director of Government Systems, Ryan Kaltenbaugh. “The new, larger office offers hands on product demonstrations in our Innovation Center, and a larger, more convenient east coast location for training.”

Technology partners ASSA ABLOY, HID Global, Innometriks, NEC and Stentofon were on hand to discuss their latest integrations with AMAG’s Symmetry Homeland Security Management System. Guests enjoyed a tour of the new office, delicious food and product updates from AMAG and their integration partners.
