The SNB-6010 IP and 1280H Beyond analog camera series will be recognised at ASIS International 2014

Samsung Techwin recently announced its SNB-6010 IP covert camera and its 1280H Beyond analog camera series have been named as Best New Product Award Winners by Security Products magazine. The Security Products New Product of the Year Award honors the outstanding product development achievements of security equipment manufacturers whose products are considered to be particularly noteworthy in their ability to improve security.

More than 100 entries were received in the 31 product award categories. Winners will receive awards and will be recognized at ASIS International 2014 in Atlanta, Georgia, September 29 – October 2. They will also be highlighted in the December 2014 issue of Security Products magazine.

Designed for discretion, the SNB-6010 provides highly advanced functions and capabilities to deliver clear 2 megapixel full HD images at 30 frames per second. Among the camera’s advanced features are intelligent video analytics, including advanced motion, tampering, virtual line, enter/exit, appear/disappear and face detection. The SNB-6010 is equipped with Micro SDX/SDHC/SDXC slot for local recording and storage, ensuring reliable capture in the event of a network disruption. Its WN3 chipset provides superior image quality with low bandwidth utilisation.

With its compact size and powerful feature set, the new Samsung SNB-6010 is an ideal solution for surveillance of museums and galleries, retail stores and ATMs. To allow for more efficient use of bandwidth and storage, the camera provides multi-crop streaming capability, which allows users to highlight or crop areas of a scene to be transmitted at a predetermined resolution and frame rate.

Equipped with CMOS megapixel (MP) sensors, 120dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) and Samsung Super Dynamic Range (SSDR), the new 1280H Beyond Series cameras deliver with 1000 TVL and outstanding image quality even in challenging lighting and weather conditions. The cameras also feature Samsung Digital Noise Reduction (SSNR4) to reduce motion blur and provides enhanced noise reduction while defog functionality provides clear images in blurry and cloudy conditions.  The 1280H cameras also perform intelligent video analytics, including tampering, fixed/moved object, detection, tracking and counting as well as featuring 24 privacy masking zones.

The Beyond 1280H camera lineup includes the SCB-5003 WDR box camera; SCB-5000 box camera; SCD-5083 WDR dome camera; SCD-5080 dome camera; SCV-5083 WDR vandal-resistant dome camera; SCV-5080 vandal resistant dome camera; SCD-5083R WDR IR dome camera; and the SCV-5083R WDR vandal resistant IR dome camera.
