Intersec Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom’s largest trade fair for security, safety, and fire protection, will take place in September 2021, organizer ACE Group announced.
The 4th edition of the three-day event, licensed by Dubai-headquartered Messe Frankfurt Middle East, will take place from 19–21 September 2021 at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center.
The annual exhibition and conference were originally scheduled to take place in March 2021, however ongoing restrictions on events along with travel and cargo constraints in the Kingdom remain in place going into the New Year.
Plan & Prepare
Alexandria Robinson, Intersec Saudi Arabia’s Show Director, said, “While it is disappointing that we have to move Intersec Saudi Arabia to September 2021, this will ensure the Kingdom is fully open for business and allows us more time to plan and prepare to reconnect our stakeholders in a safe and secure environment.”

Supported by key government entities
Intersec Saudi Arabia is supported by key government entities including Saudi Civil Defense, and the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), together with the industry at large.
More than 120 exhibitors from 20 countries are expected to participate next year, while the customarily wide range of value-added conferences covering much-needed discussions and topics will also return.
Revenue estimation
Saudi is the Middle East’s largest commercial security, fire protection, and safety market, and even with COVID-19, it is estimated to be worth US$9.6 billion in 2020 according to analysts 6Wresearch.
Homeland security and policing will hold the lion’s share of spending this year, at US$5.4 billion. This is followed by information security (US$2.8 billion), commercial security (US$892 million), fire safety (US$309 million), and physical and perimeter protection (US$227 million).
