Entrust has announced the appointment of Adam Dimopoulos as their new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Known for specializing in identity-centric security solutions, Entrust aims to strengthen its security capabilities with this latest recruitment.
Adam Dimopoulos carries extensive expertise in identity security and risk management, which aligns with Entrust's objective of ensuring customer trust and safeguarding critical systems and data.

With over 20 years of experience in global information security, Dimopoulos is set to play a pivotal role at Entrust. His responsibilities will center around enhancing the company's security posture and resilience, thereby enabling secure innovation and scalable growth for clients. Having worked within numerous regulated industries, Dimopoulos's background is expected to contribute significantly to Entrust's mission.

Before joining Entrust, Dimopoulos served as Vice President of Information Security at Synchrony
Dimopoulos brings a comprehensive perspective to his role, having experience in product development and global security leadership. His unique 'builder-and-buyer' approach is designed to ground security in practical, scalable solutions.
"I’ve had the opportunity to see identity security from both sides—helping build products and platforms, as well as being accountable for the outcomes as a global security leader," said Dimopoulos. He aims to push forward conversations on modern identity and Zero Trust, focusing on generating outcomes that are realistic, resilient, and measurable in real-world settings.
Prior Experience in Industry Transformation
Before joining Entrust, Dimopoulos served as Vice President of Information Security at Synchrony. During his tenure, he led comprehensive identity security and Zero Trust transformations, enhancing risk reduction and operational resilience across the enterprise.
Dimopoulos's past roles at Microsoft and Gartner also involved developing security strategies and executing them at scale, further qualifying him for his current position at Entrust.
