Boon Edam Inc. has partnered with Sitemetric to introduce the Sitemetric Deluxe Turnstile, a customized version of Boon Edam's Turnlock 100 Mobile Platform, aimed at enhancing security for construction sites. This collaboration integrates Boon Edam's expertise in physical security entrances with Sitemetric's Integrated Construction Intelligence platform to address the dynamic security needs of modern construction projects.
After initial discussions, Boon Edam and Sitemetric focused on creating a mobile full-height turnstile that could be uniformly deployed across Sitemetric's construction ventures. Within a few months, they agreed on a tailored solution meeting Sitemetric's operational, technical, and branding criteria. The prototype underwent field testing to validate its performance.
Factory-Integrated Technology
This new turnstile, known as the Sitemetric Deluxe Turnstile, includes proprietary technology and is shipped fully assembled for swift deployment. The design facilitates quick relocation to evolving construction sites, ensuring a consistent and integrated security solution that keeps pace with site developments.
Boon Edam began delivering the Sitemetric Deluxe Turnstile in the second quarter of 2026. These units, manufactured and stocked at Boon Edam's North Carolina facility, support the increasing demand linked to Sitemetric's Integrated Construction Intelligence platform.

Patrick Nora, President and Managing Director of Boon Edam, noted, “Boon Edam is in a unique position to support the specific operational requirements of enterprise customers. In addition to supplying Sitemetric with a very specific customized configuration of our Turnlock 100 Mobile Platform – a standardized, branded solution that can be deployed consistently and at scale – we are producing and stocking the units and shipping them directly to the construction sites where they are operational shortly upon arrival.”
The Sitemetric Deluxe Turnstile is based on the Turnlock 100 Mobile platform, featuring a forklift-ready diamond plate platform that allows for direct shipping and placement without anchor bolts or permanent structures. This flexibility ensures the turnstile can adapt to changing construction perimeters and access requirements, maintaining secure access throughout various project stages.
Strategic Vision and Future Outlook
Rich Riley, CEO of Sitemetric, highlighted their goal to create a reliable and robust security entrance supporting their platform. "We approached Boon Edam with the objective of producing a high performance and robust security entrance that could be standardized to support our Integrated Construction Intelligence platform, be deployed quickly, perform reliably in demanding conditions, and easily be relocated as the jobsite changes," said Riley.
For Sitemetric, this integration not only enhances onsite security but also supports large-scale projects across the country. They monitor sites via their Joint Security and Operations Center (JSOC), enabling real-time responses to any incidents. Riley expressed enthusiasm for the ongoing collaboration, stating, "We look forward to a long and productive relationship."
