LAN airline, one of the most important airline companies in Latin America, is based in Lima, Peru. The airline company operates scheduled domestic and international services, controlling over seventy percent of the domestic market. Its main base and maintenance center are located in Jorge Chávez International Airport, Lima, which is a significant transfer hub and aviation infrastructure of South America. The LAN airline deploys its surveillance system with Dahua solutions for its office and airplane maintenance center, which plays a vital role to keep customers' airplanes flying safely. As what the customer specified, they want the center covered to ensure a 100% regular management and operation. However, since it is located inside of Jorge Chávez International Airport, it brings along with a hassle as neither too many cables nor wireless antennas are allowed because it may generate electronic jamming. The Dahua 6C-series speed dome cameras can not only provide clear and crisp images, but also requires less output power AP Mode Wireless Video Transmission Under this circumstance, Dahua team suggested to use a hybrid solution — a combination of AP (access points) and wire transmission — wirelessly transmit the camera data to inter-connected sub-centers, and then cable-transmit to the control room. The ‘AP mode’ wireless video transmission system includes access points, feeders, PoE, antennas and power cables, allowing a 3.0km to 5.0km long-distance fast transmission with a wide angle, by which, the coverage is further expanded. High-Quality Images At Low Power Consumption There are in total hundreds of network cameras and Dahua speed domes adopted, ranging from basic line-up to the Eco-Savvy series with versatile shapes such as domes and box cameras according to the actual surveillance surroundings. Take the Eco-Savvy camera series for example, the dome camera is able to provide high-quality image with much lower power consumption — saving up to 50% energy compared with similar products from other bidders. Moreover, the Dahua 6C-series speed dome cameras can not only provide clear and crisp images, but also requires less output power, lowering the power output of the airport. Over fifteen 16-channel PoE NVRs are applied, each with 384Mbps incoming bandwidth, rendering a smooth HD real-time preview and recording As for storage, over fifteen 16-channel PoE NVRs are applied, each with 384Mbps incoming bandwidth, rendering a smooth HD real-time preview and recording; and its PoE function simplifies installation and reduces signal interference. The NVR accommodates up to 16TB with 4 SATAs supported, ensuring a large volume 24/7 storage. Products Deliver Excellent Performance “Actually, we have many bidders and the final reason that drives us to cooperate with Dahua is their outstanding product quality and service. We can see their professionalism in video surveillance and plus their sincerity makes us moved during the communication,” said Luis A. Gómez Cornejo, Supervisor of Electronic Security at LAN Perú. “The implementation went great, they deployed the system within quite a short time and the products are in very good performance.” “We feel super honored to be involved in this case,” said William Zhou, Sales Director for Latin Americas at Dahua Technology. “In recent years, we are going vertical rather than providing simple and individual products. And this project deepened our insight and practical experience towards airport projects.”
Dahua enables live video and access to video storage in low-bandwidth conditions Dahua Technology, a world-leading manufacturer and supplier of video surveillance products headquartered in Hangzhou, China secures more than 5,000 buses in Guadalajara, Mexico. Customer Guadalajara is the capital and largest city of the Mexican state of Jalisco, and the seat of the municipality of Guadalajara. Mexico's fourth most populous municipality is reported to be challenged by crime including: robberies, assaults, car thefts, etc. Mass transit is generally considered unsafe. Purse-snatching and armed robberies have been common on buses. Drivers sometimes illegally put the bus fare in their own pockets. Another issue addressed by the new system is traffic accidents, which have remained untracked without security cameras. To reduce serious crimes that continued to take place on buses, security cameras are required to be installed on all buses by transport regulations since 2014. Dahua Security Equipment Dahua plays a vital role in protecting drivers and passengers on buses in Guadalajara by providing more than 1,250 pieces of security equipment for over 5,000 buses. This equipment includes: Dahua CA-DW480D700TVL Mobile Dome Camera features 3.6mm fixed lens (2.8mm optional). The vandal-proof analog cameras are installed beside the driver’s seat, in the middle of the bus and at the rear, monitoring all the areas inside the bus. With IR LEDs range up to 10 meters, it can deliver great day/night performance in any lighting conditions. Meanwhile, Dahua 0404ME-U-GC, 4 Channel Mobile Standalone DVR is set at the middle front of the bus, which supports SXGA real-time live view and full channel synchronous real-time playback. It helps record traffic from the front and two sides outside the bus. Results A reliable system is the key of operating video surveillance in moving vehicles. Dahua perfectly fit the requirement by offering a stable, smooth and ruggedized system. With the equipment of specialized cameras, DVRs and software platforms, high solution videos can be captured both inside and outside the city bus while traffic conditions can be detected in advance to avoid accidents. Dahua enables live video and access to video storage in low-bandwidth conditions. The solution can use 3G to deliver this access to evidence when an emergency occurs. The solution also provides other extended functions, such as people counting, bus route management, etc. “It’s a great honor to cooperate with a local agent company and system integrator in such a project,” said William Zhou, Sales Director of Latin-America at Dahua Technology. “We are proud to provide value-added products and service to our clients, and to make an effort in securing the safety of people and assets in Guadalajara. With Dahua’s outstanding products and proven mobile solution, I know there will be chances for more cooperation within Mexico.” Save Save

Dahua 1.3/2-megapixel network speed domes provide real-time recording at high definitions with maximum 100-meter IR distance OCP group is a global leader in phosphate and its derivatives markets headquartered in Morocco, it recently upgraded its video surveillance system with Dahua HD IP solution. Dahua HD IP Solution OCP group has been a key player in international phosphate market since its founding in 1920. It is world’s largest exporter of phosphate rock and phosphoric acid as well as one of the world’s largest producers of fertilizer. Its production site had been equipped with analog system for several years, however, the system failed to give any useful information after an incident. Thus, OCP group decided to level up their security by adding Dahua HD IP solution as a complementary as well as replacing its old DVRs. Depending on customers’ needs, clear and crystal monitoring image was on top of their list, and due to its wide production site, it is of importance to well deploy cameras, both indoor and outdoor. Moreover, since the manufacturing base was secured by different branding devices, product compatibility becomes a key issue. Under professional suggestion of COUNTRY TECH, Dahua’s local distributor, OCP group decided to take Dahua speed domes (SD6980-HN & SD6582A-HN), NVRs (NVR3216) and DVRs (DVR0804HF-L) to secure their assets. Real-Time Recording Dahua 1.3/2-megapixel network speed domes provide real-time recording at high definitions with maximum 100-metreIR distance, ensuring a wide visual range at night as well as other poor-lighting conditions; domes’ ingress protection rating is up to IP67 and IK10 to against harsh weathers. NVR3216 supports maximum 120fps@1080P recording and accommodates two HDDs for data storage. “We put quality first when selecting products,” said Afaf RAIS, Sales Manager of COUNTRY TECH. “Partnering with Dahua for several years made us confident about the products and services they provide; meanwhile, all that are based on a reasonable price. During the project, Dahua showed professionalism and offered very good support and services.” “Phosphate is the economic pillar in Morocco, we are proud that our solution and products could be applied to secure it,” said William Zhou, Sales Director of Latin America and Africa at Dahua Technology. “Global demand for high definition solution continues to grow, take Africa as an example, in recently years, we have seen more and more projects asking for IP solutions, and thus we will work more on this and bring more region-oriented products and solutions to the market.”
